I don't usually do this, and have not written anything a poem for at least 40 years. But here is my poem; Poem for Elizabeth Control over your life and destiny went that awful diagnosis day. You submitted to all it threw at you but kept on fighting. You rode the rollercoaster between remission and despair and did so with such courage and bloody minded determination, fierce in your desire to stick around, for your loved ones. Rest now, released, at peace, big sister.
